Made In is a project that explores the vastness and seemingly infinite complexity of the global supply chain. Human society is now more connected than ever before, and as a consequence we are more dependent on one another; this has become evident in recent years.
Suburbia
Today, the living spaces for most Americans resembles more and more factory-made products they consume. This is to be expected, as construction companies optimize their methods and reduce upfront cost, creativity and uniqueness amongst buildings is lost. This may benefit those company owners - most of whom will never have to live in the cookie-cutter dwellings they force upon the population, but it comes at the cost of the beauty our communities and the feeling of individualism that we hold so dear.
